COLONIE, N.Y. -- A fiery group of citizens gather in Colonie to voice their disagreement with the public-run health care option.

Dozens marched at the corner of Central Ave and Wolf Road as part of the "Recess Rally" taking place nationwide, and while many were out in opposition to increased government involvement in health care, the rally wasn't without controversy.

Those in support of the public plan showed up for the event. Regardless of the debate, however, protesters say it's a great way to make a statement.

"Being a senior citizen, I'm afraid of what's going to happen to us. I don't want to just take a pill. I don't want somebody telling me what to do with my body, and I have friends back home that are senior citizens that have real good health care and they are so afraid that they are going to lose it because of this,” said healthcare activist, Dolly Buskey.

Another option up for debate? A national not-for-profit health care cooperative which would not be government operated.
