PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Pittsfield Mayor James Ruberto has won his fourth-term in office. He defeated opponent Dan Bianchi by a little more than 200 votes.

Ruberto put crime-fighting and economic development at the top of his campaign plan.

It was an emotional election season for Ruberto, who recently lost both his wife and his mother.

Ruberto said his late-wife Ellen was influential for setting the course for a "new Pittsfield."

Ruberto won with 51 percent of the vote.
