Mostly Cloudy, Possible Sprinkle/Shower Through Tonight
Best Chance of Rain Late Saturday into Sunday
Low pressure to our south and west will keep us in mostly cloudy skies and fairly mild temperatures with nothing more than a passing shower today through early Saturday. As low pressure along the mid Atlantic coast strengthens and moves northward, the threat for rain will increase during Saturday and especially Saturday night into Sunday. Any threat of prolonged, heavy rain and flooding potential will likely remain south and east of the Capital Region. There also is a possibility of rain mixing with snow or sleet in the mountains over the weekend.
