If you're tired of paying state income taxes in the Bay State, you'll have a chance to try to eliminate that tax -- but critics call that prospect a long shot.
An anti-tax group is circulating its second petition drive to try to abolish the state income tax in Massachusetts. The petition needs just 11,000 signatures to put the measure on the ballot in November. A similar question appeared on the 2002 state ballot and was defeated, but did get the backing of about 45 percent of voters.
