SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Senator Majority Leader Joseph Bruno was honored Monday night by the State Thoroughbred Breeders Incorporated at the organization's annual awards dinner at the Gideon Putnam Hotel.
Even though it was Bruno's night to shine, he didn't stray away from discussing big ticket issues like suspending the gas tax from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Senator Majority Leader Joseph Bruno was honored by the State Thoroughbred Breeders Incorporated at the organization's annual awards dinner at the Gideon Putnam Hotel.
"We think it's just something that just ought to happen, but know they are still pretty closed mind to it. But I hope, in the next week or two with public pressure that they understand that this really can be a huge win for the people in this state for people who travel across the state and the people who travel through this state during those holidays," Bruno said.
Bruno did say he was grateful for the award he received, saying he has a love for horses both on and off the track.
