The family of a murdered Albany teen hopes hopes a new reward will lead to information about her killer.

Albany police and Mayor Jerry Jennings gathered with Gretchen Perham's family to announce a $19,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of her murderer.

The crew from "Wakin' Up With the Wolf" on radio station PYX 106 managed to raise over $7,000 for the reward fund. That's in addition to the almost $2,000 the Perham family brought in. Another $10,000 was donated by Wurld Media of Saratoga Springs.

Officials hope someone who knows what happened will come forward.

Reward offered
A $19,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for the death of a Gretchen Perham.
Mayor Jennings said, "Any little information can be very, very beneficial to us. Our people are working day and night."

It's been more than a month since the 14-year-old was found stabbed to death. Police are looking for connections between her murder and the attempted kidnapping of another 14-year-old last week.
