RENSSELAER, N.Y. -- A Scotia man is in the hospital after an accident on a construction site in the City of Rensselaer.
Police say just before 11 a.m. Wednesday, Liam Haley was working on the roof of the Empire Power Generating facility on Riverside Avenue when he fell through the roof. They say Haley fell 80 to 90 feet, hitting beams and a crane before landing on the cement floor.
Haley was taken to Albany Medical Center for several serious injuries.
