ALBANY COUNTY
SLINGERLANDS BYPASS: New Scotland Road between the Route 140 roundabout and the entrance to Price Chopper is closed for approximately one week for reconstruction. Motorists should follow the detour using the Bypass. There is also a round-the-clock, eastbound right lane closure on Route 85 between Maher Road and Blessing Road.
ROUTE 85 BRIDGE OVER BERKSHIRE BOULEVARD: Two travel lanes in each direction have been restored on Route 85 between the Krumkill Road and Route 20 interchanges with lane shifts. The on-ramp from Daytona Avenue to Route 85 westbound remains closed until mid-June. Motorists are detoured on Route 20 and the Campus ring road. Berkshire Boulevard beneath Route 85 will be closed round-the-clock on Wednesday and Thursday, May 14-15, while steel elements of the new bridge are set in place.
ROUTE 7 OVER NORTHWAY JOINT REPAIRS: On Saturday, May 17, crews will be making joint repairs on the bridge carrying Route 7 over the Northway with an eastbound right lane closure from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m.
NORTHWAY GUIDE RAIL REPAIRS: Beginning Tuesday, May 13, and continuing through Thursday, May 15, crews will be repairing guide rail on the Northway between the Twin Bridges and Route 20 with various lane restrictions in each direction from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day.
ROUTE 7 PERMIT WORK: On Tuesday, May 13, permit work will be done on Route 7 westbound between Forts Ferry Road and Wade Road with a right lane closure from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
ROUTE 143 RECONSTRUCTION: A project to reconstruct State Route 143 in Coeymans continues with alternating one-way traffic operations controlled by flaggers between Route 9W and Nolan Road from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
ROUTE 20 PERMIT WORK: On Tuesday and Wednesday, May 13-14, permit work will be done on Route 20 between the Northway and East Highland Drive with an eastbound right lane closure from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
ESSEX COUNTY
INTERSTATE 87 BRIDGE OVER BOUQUET RIVER: Work continues on the Northway bridge over the North Branch of the Bouquet River between Exits 33 and 32 in Essex County with a southbound right lane closure from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each weekday.
ROUTE 9N OVER PUTNAM CREEK AND MCKENZIE BROOK: Work continues on this project in Crown Point and Port Henry. There are one-way alternating traffic operations at both locations 24-hours-a-day.
NORTHWAY PAVEMENT STRIPING WORK: There is ongoing pavement striping work being done on the Northway in Saratoga, Warren and Essex counties with various lane restrictions each weekday beginning at 9 a.m.

RENSSELAER COUNTY
INTERSTATE 90 SCHODACK REST AREA TO CLOSE THURSDAY: On Thursday, May 15, the rest rooms at the Schodack Rest Area on I-90 will be closed during the day to allow for electrical repairs to be done.
ROUTE 66 RESURFACING: Continuing through Wednesday, May 14, resurfacing will be done on Route 66 between Hoags Corners and Brainard with alternating, one-way traffic operations each weekday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
ROUTE 203 RESURFACING: Through Friday, May 16, crews will be resurfacing Route 203 between the Village of Nassau and the Columbia County Line with alternating one-way traffic operations controlled by flaggers each weekday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
ROUTE 67 BRIDGE OVER THE HUDSON RIVER: The project to rehabilitate this bridge between Mechanicville and Schaghticoke continues. Currently, there is alternating, one-way traffic on the bridge controlled by a temporary signal system. There is also a short local detour in Mechanicville.
SARATOGA COUNTY
ROUTE 67 BRIDGE OVER THE HUDSON RIVER: The project to rehabilitate this bridge between Mechanicville and Schaghticoke continues. Currently, there is alternating, one-way traffic on the bridge controlled by a temporary signal system. There is also a short local detour in Mechanicville.
INTERSTATE 87 OVER D & H PROJECT: This bridge replacement project located on the Northway between Exits 15 and 16 continues with a left lane closure southbound from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
ROUND LAKE BYPASS CONSTRUCTION: The Zim Smith Trail is closed in the vicinity of the construction project until July 1, 2008 (estimated). Other portions of the trail remain open for use.

SCHENECTADY COUNTY
NISKA ISLE BRIDGE DAILY CLOSURE ON WEEKDAYS: Each weekday through Friday, May 16, the Niska Isle Bridge in Niskayuna will close for repairs each weekday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
ROUTE 50 BRIDGE OVER THE INDIAN KILL: Work continues on this bridge replacement project in Glenville. Two-way traffic is maintained with narrowed travel lanes.
WARREN COUNTY
NORTHWAY GUIDE RAIL REPAIRS: Through Friday, May 16, crews will be repairing guide rail on the Northway in each direction between Exits 17 and 23 with various single lane closures each day from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
ROUTE 28 BRIDGE OVER MILL CREEK: One-way, alternating traffic operations controlled by a temporary signal system continue at this bridge replacement project in Johnsburg. This traffic pattern is expected to remain in place until mid-October.
ROUTE 9L OVER HALFWAY CREEK WORK: There is alternating, one-way traffic operations controlled by a temporary signal system on the bridge carrying Route 9L over Halfway Creek adjacent to Haviland Road round-the-clock until September.
ROUTE 9 RESURFACING PROJECT: A resurfacing project on Route 9 between the Glens Falls City Line and Round Pond Road continues with a round-the-clock, southbound right lane closure between Route 254 and Sweet Road until late May.
I-87, ROUTE 9 BRIDGE PAINTING: There are daily shoulder closures on the Northway at the bridge over Route 9 between Exits 22 and 23 and on Route 9 north of Diamond Point Road to allow for bridge painting. These are expected to continue through Friday, May 16.

WASHINGTON COUNTY
CLAY HILL ROAD BRIDGE OVER CHAMPLAIN CANAL: The work on this bridge continues with periods of alternating one-way traffic each weekday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
ROUTE 4 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT: The one-way detour continues on Route 4 between Maple Avenue and Schuyler Street. Northbound traffic is re-routed on a signed detour that includes Burgoyne Avenue and Schuyler Street while southbound traffic remains on Route 4. This traffic pattern is expected to remain in place until October 2008. Special signage is posted to direct customers to area businesses and access remains open to businesses and driveways.
