ALBANY COUNTY


NORTHWAY EXIT 6 BRIDGE PROJECT: The project to replace the bridge carrying State Route 7 over the Northway at Exit 6 continues. There are lane shifts in each direction between Exits 5 and 6. Beginning at 10 p.m. on Friday, October 31, through 5 a.m. on Monday, November 3, the ramp from the Northway northbound to Routes 7 and 2 will be closed. Motorists should follow the signed detour using Northway Exit 7, Route 7 and Route 9. For more information, visit www.exit6.org.


CENTRAL AVENUE RESURFACING: Work continues on the resurfacing project on Central Avenue, State Route 5, with various lane restrictions and shifts at various locations between Fuller Road and Route 155 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights.


ROUTE 143 RECONSTRUCTION: A project to reconstruct State Route 143 in Coeymans continues with alternating one-way traffic operations controlled by flaggers between Route 9W and Nolan Road from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each weekday. There are alternating, one-way traffic operations each weekday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists may be traveling over a rough surface with loose stone.


ESSEX COUNTY


ROUTE 9N OVER PUTNAM CREEK AND MCKENZIE BROOK: Work continues on this project in Crown Point and Port Henry. There are one-way alternating traffic operations at both locations 24 hours a day.


GREENE COUNTY


ROUTE 23 OVER SCHOHARIE CREEK CLOSED: The bridge carrying Route 23 over Schoharie Creek in Prattsville is closed for an estimated two months (mid-November) while repairs are being made. Motorists should use the detour that incorporates State Route 23 to State Route 30 in Grand Gorge; Route 30 to State Route 990V; Route 990V to Schoharie County Route 39 (Prattsville Road); Greene County Route 7 (Gilboa Road); Delaware County Route 53; back to Greene County Route 7 to rejoin Route 23.


RENSSELAER COUNTY


ROUTE 67 BRIDGE OVER THE HUDSON RIVER: The project to rehabilitate this bridge between Mechanicville and Schaghticoke continues. Currently, there is alternating, one-way traffic on the bridge controlled by a temporary signal system. There is also a short local detour in Mechanicville.


SARATOGA COUNTY


NORTHWAY EXIT 6 BRIDGE PROJECT: The project to replace the bridge carrying State Route 7 over the Northway at Exit 6 continues. There are lane shifts in each direction between Exits 5 and 6. ROUTE 67 BRIDGE OVER FORMER D&H: A project to replace the bridge carrying Route 67 over the former D&H Railbed in Ballston. There are alternating, one-way traffic operations on the bridge from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each weekday.

SCHENECTADY COUNTY


ROUTE 50 BRIDGE OVER THE INDIAN KILL: Work continues on this bridge replacement project in Glenville. Currently, there are flagging operations controlling traffic each week Monday-through-Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should expect travel delays and consider alternate routes.


WARREN COUNTY


ROUTE 28 BRIDGE OVER MILL CREEK: One-way, alternating traffic operations controlled by a temporary signal system continue at this bridge replacement project in Johnsburg. This traffic pattern is expected to remain in place until mid-October.


WASHINGTON COUNTY


ROUTE 4 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT: The project continues with alternating, one-way traffic operations between Bridge St. and Gibson St. each day from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.


ROUTE 22 PAVING WORK: Resurfacing work continues on Route 22 between Routes 40 and 4 with alternating, one-way traffic operations at various locations controlled by flaggers from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day.


CLAY HILL ROAD BRIDGE OVER CHAMPLAIN CANAL: The work on this bridge continues with periods of alternating one-way traffic each weekday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
