The high school football season is almost wrapped up. Four section two teams and one team from the North Country are still battling for titles.
Brendan Harris grew up in Queensbury, dreaming of playing major league baseball. But it was more than dreams that took him to William and Mary and eventually to the Big Leagues. Thursday night, Harris was in town telling youngsters how they can follow in his footsteps.

In a decision this week, the New York State Court of Appeals upheld that state and county governments acted within their rights when they offered benefits to same-sex couples married out of state. The court held that the government had discretion to do this because it can extend benefits to domestic partners. But how, if at all, does this affect the same-sex marriage debate in New York, especially when it comes to the legislature? Our Britt Godshalk reports.

FAA officials say failed computers that delayed flights across the country are now working again. The air traffic controllers union says the computer failure involved both of the Federal Aviation Administration's computer centers in Salt Lake City and Atlanta.
