Oakwood Avenue in Troy reopens after water main break

TROY, N.Y. -- Oakwood Avenue between Hoosick and Archibald streets in Troy is back open after a water main break over the weekend.


The main ruptured on Saturday evening, and crews had been working ever since to repair the water main and the pavement, which buckled.

The Department of Transportation said the road reopened at 3:30 p.m. Monday with no delays.
