WARREN COUNTY -- A Johnsburg man is facing charges on allegations he sexually assaulted a woman and held her against her will.

Robert Hook, 50, is charged with first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree attempted rape and first-degree unlawful imprisonment.

The woman told police that Hook assaulted her at her home in Bakers Mills and that he held a sharp instrument, possibly a knife, during the attack. She was able to escape and went to a neighbor's house for help.

Hook was arraigned and sent to the Warren County Correctional Facility on $100,000 bail.
