ALBANY, N.Y. -- The College of St. Rose class of 2008 celebrated its graduation today at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Nearly 900 students received their degree at the college's 85th annual commencement.

This year's commencement speaker was Governor David Paterson. He spoke to the faculty, staff and students about the future.

"We are ourselves, imperfect. We make mistakes, we move forward when we should stay back, we stay back when we should move forward. There are all kinds of errors that we have made in our lives. But the feeling is, is that it is that virtue that allows us to move forward,” Paterson said.
