HUDSON, N.Y. -- Hudson police have charged a third person in connection with a fatal assault in February.
Bruce Smith, 30, of Hudson is charged with manslaughter and gang assault for the death of Floyd Sanders, 28, of Hudson.
Sanders was airlifted to Albany Medical Center after police said they found him seriously injured on the back porch of an apartment on State Street. He died a week later at the hospital.
Hudson police have charged a third person in connection with a fatal assault in February.
Police said Sanders was attacked over allegations that he sexually abused two young girls.
Smith had been held by investigators on a parole violation since the attack in February. He was arraigned Monday and sent to the Columbia County Jail without bail.
Kevin Allen, 27, and Kari Cordato, 29, are also charged with manslaughter and gang assault. They were arraigned last week.
