GREENWICH, N.Y. -- The search for missing 12-year-old Jaliek Rainwalker continues this week.

Greenwich Police Chief George Bell tells us the drone plane found a large piece of metal on the bottom of the Battenkill, but nothing significant has turned up yet.

The plane is designed to pick up anything unusual in the area. It is able to fly close to riverbanks and in dense wooded areas that volunteers on foot can't reach.

Crews are using a drone plane in the search for Jaliek Rainwalker who's been missing since early November.

A high resolution camera is attached to the bottom of the plane, and the images are analyzed after the plane lands.

The metal found has no significance to the search.

There will be more searching going on this week with side-scan sonar from Minnesota.
