Camp Barker


Since 1923, the Troy Boys & Girls Club has been operating Camp Barker. The camp offers 85 acres of land and 1200 feet of waterfront on Forest Lake, in the Grafton Mountains. School age youth between the ages of 5-13 enjoy tree covered hills, a variety of marked trails, and many open fields, to explore and enjoy. Over the course of the summer months, the children participate in such activities as hiking, camp craft, arts & crafts, swimming and athletics.

Capital Repertory Theatre's S.T.A.R. Program


The 2008 S.T.A.R. program provides a five week opportunity for teens to grow together as a theatre ensemble. Participants will work with a dramatic writer and other professionals at Capital Repertory Theatre's summer education space - located at The Egg - to create and perform in their own collaboratively written production. S.T.A.R. students will experience workshops in writing, acting, music, dance, as well as set and costume design. This summer's themes: "Explore - Discover - Create" are inspired by the upcoming regional Hudson River Quadricentennial Celebration. The program will end with a weekend of performances.

Hebron Center Summer Camp


Our Purpose: To be a place where children of all ages will experience re-creation and transformation. Theme for Summer, 2008 "Handle With Care." The stewardship of all creation, and our relationship with God, creation, self, and others. This is an overnight camping program located in the lovely hills of Washington County.
