CONSTABLE, N.Y. -- A Constable man is dead after a motorcycle accident in Franklin County. It happened around 8:00 Thursday night on County Route 20 in Constable.

State Police say Matthew Scott, 35, lost control of his motorcycle and hit a guardrail. They say he was thrown from the bike and died at the scene.

There is no word on what caused Scott to lose control of the motorcycle.
