Last week Schenectady's Jacob Hobbs was just hoping to get the attention of the N.Y. Giants brass. He spent this past weekend working out for coaches at the Giants rookie/free agent minicamp.
It worked out well as the former UAlbany standout has signed a two year deal with the Giants.
His agent Cal Robinson saying the Giants are very impressed with Hobbs who will return to New Jersey this Thursday to start off-season workouts.
Hobbs is the first Ualbany football player to be signed by the Giants.
