Democratic candidates in 21st Congressional District debate
Updated: 05/15/2008 11:30 AM

Ken Jubie
ALBANY, N.Y. -- Voters in the 21st Congressional District now know more about the candidates hoping to represent them in Washington.
Eight Democrats faced off in their first debate Wednesday night, which went for more than two hours.
With such a crowded field, it turned into more of a question and answer forum, rather than a traditional debate.
Candidates debate
It's a crowded race for the 21st Congressional District seat. And for the first time, all eight Democrats sat down in one room to debate the issues. Ken Jubie was there and has the details.
The candidates are vying for the seat being vacated by Congressman Mike McNulty who will retire when his current term ends.
