Race for 21st Conressional District
As one Democratic candidate for the 21st Congressional District seat steps out, there is word of another throwing his hat in the ring.
Meanwhile, Arthur Welser is expected to join the race this weekend. The Democrat from Latham grew up in Northern New York. He is meeting with the Albany County Candidate Review Committee this Saturday, and will formally announcement his candidacy afterwards.

One of the issues on his platform is guaranteeing every child in America a high school education. After Saturday, there will be seven Democrats and two Republicans running for the 21st Congressional District seat being vacated by Rep. Mike McNulty.
