Getn' There: NYS Thruway exit 36 to I-81 north to Watertown. Take Route 3 east to Saranac lake, then Rt. 86 east.
For a more scenic route, NYS Thruway Exit 31 in Utica to Rt. 12 North to Rt. 28. In Blue Mountain Lake, pick up Rt. 30 North to Rt. 3. Follow signs to Lake Placid.
