COHOES, N.Y. -- Folks had a chance to enjoy some outdoor shopping this weekend and the money they spent benefits a good cause.
More than 40 vendors set up shop at the seventh Annual Flea Market and craft fair at the Ukrainian Club in Cohoes.
The proceeds raised will benefit the Counseling Care Services, which helps abused children and women of domestic violence.
"There are many people struggling right now, so we are having a fundraiser and we hope, donated by the Ukrainian Club,” said Marilyn Wheeler, who was volunteering at the club.
Folks had a chance to enjoy some outdoor shopping this weekend. But the best part was, the money they spent benefited a good cause.
In the past roughly $1,000 was raised. However, this weekend, organizers say they had a much higher turnout.
