ROTTERDAM, N.Y. -- Police in Rotterdam have arrested two men in connection with several burglaries in Schenectady County over the past month.
Jamie Velez and Carlos Roman were picked up by officers on Helderberg Avenue in Rotterdam early Tuesday morning. The pair told police they were out to commit burglaries but they got "rained out" and were headed home. Both of the men admitted to other burglaries around Rotterdam and Schenectady over the last month.
Velez and Roman are being held in the Schenectady County Jail without bail on burglary and other charges.
