A Closer Look: Long Term Care Insurance

This week, we take a closer look at long term care insurance.
It’s estimated that over 40 percent of people who are 65 or older will enter a nursing home during their lifetimes. They're likely to stay there, on average, for two and a half years at a cost of $93,000 or more a year. This weekend we're taking a closer look at Long Term Care Insurance and here to help us sort through the options is Greg Olson from the New York State Office for the Aging.
