TROY, N.Y. -- There may still be snow on the ground, but folks in the Capital Region got an opportunity to savor the sweet scent of spring flowers at the annual Garden and Flower show.
There are more than 17 exhibits and 100 flower designs for green thumbs to thumb through at the annual Garden and Flower show.
People were also able to buy some bulbs, plants and seeds to get ready for the warmer weather and jump start their gardens.
"This is one of the great things about garden and flower shows, you have all this expertise all in one location, all at one time. So you can go from garden to garden to garden sort of picking the brains of the best in the business here in the Capital District,” said Terry Ettinger.
