ALBANY, N.Y. -- A fourth Democrat is jumping in the race for the 21st Congressional District Seat. Lester Freeman is the coordinator of the Equal Opportunity Program in Albany, and he's hoping to step into Democratic incumbent Michael McNulty's shoes.
Freeman was born and raised in Albany, and went to college in the state. Last year, he ran for the Albany County Legislature, and lost in a close race to incumbent Lucille McKnight.
"We are about to take another step, a step for our children, a step for better education, throughout this region, and a step to rebuild the four regions and seven counties here,” said Freeman.
