QUEENSBURY, N.Y. -- Troopers say one person is dead and several more injured after an unlicensed driver veered into a center lane on the Northway. It happened in the early morning hours up in Queensbury.

Inez Pelkey, 81, of Cadyville was a passenger of the car hit. She died at Glens Falls Hospital.

The driver, Paul Mosticchio, 45, of the Cayman Islands, was ticketed for reckless driving, unsafe lane change and unlicensed operation.
