Controversy surrounds 9/11 trials

Controversy continues surrounding the 9/11 suspects' trial. Wednesday Attorney General Eric Holder testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee, defending his controversial decision to transport Mohammad and four other terror suspects from Guantanamo Bay to New York City and prosecute them in civilian court and as our Michael Scotto reports, he told lawmakers that losing this case is simply not an option.

Upgraded training for search and rescue volunteers

Legal Eagle: Terror suspects to be tried in Federal Court

US Attorney General Eric Holder announcing Friday, that five terror suspects, including Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the self-proclaimed mastermind of the September 11th attacks, will be tried in Federal Court in New York City. Five other Guantanamo Bay detainees will face a military commission, as President Obama takes steps to close the facility. Aside from security concerns over holding the trial in Lower Manhattan, there are also some legal hurdles that need to be cleared before the proceeding gets underway and here to discuss some of those issues is our Legal Eagle, Paul DerOhannesian.
