TROY, N.Y. -- A Troy woman is facing drug and weapons charges after police executed a search warrant at 2908 Sixth Avenue on Thursday.

During the search, investigators recovered about seven grams of crack cocaine, a small amount of marijuana, about $1,500 cash and a loaded .357 magnum revolver.

Tiffany Cruz, 23, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. She was arraigned and released on bail.

The investigation was conducted by the Rensselaer County Sheriff's Office, the Rensselaer County Drug Task Force and the Troy Police Special Operations Section.
