Men charged with selling drugs in Watervliet
WATERVLIET, N.Y. -- Two men are facing charges after police said they were dealing drugs in the City of Watervliet.
The Watervliet Police Drug Unit, with the assistance of the US Marshals Capital District Fugitive Task Force, arrested Columbus Allen III, 33, of Cohoes and Anthony Cruz, 30, of Troy early Thursday morning.
Acting on information gathered from people in the area, police set up operations in several different areas of the city. Police said Allen and Cruz sold crack cocaine to undercover officers.
They are both charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
