The indictment alleges that on May 28, White, Spiak and Gay abducted a female on Elk Street in an effort to get the victim's brother to bring them a safe. The woman was beaten, stabbed and tortured during the ordeal.
"This is the most violent kidnapping and torture case I have ever witnessed in Albany County," said Albany County District Attorney David Soares. "This lawlessness will not be tolerated and these individuals will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law for their horrific actions."
White, Spiak and Gay face 25 years to life in prison if convicted.
