SCOTIA, N.Y. -- Police are investigating a serious accident in Scotia. Around 3:30 p.m., Saturday, police said a car and a pick-up truck collided at the corner of Glen and Mohawk avenues, near Collins Park.

Witnesses told police the driver of the car ran a red light, crashing into the pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck was airlifted to Albany Medical. His passenger and the driver of the car were also taken to the hospital.

There is no word on their conditions, and their names aren't being released.

Police haven't said if any charges will be filed.
