DAY, N.Y. -- A Richmondville man is dead after a motorcycle accident in Edinburg. Saratoga County Sheriff's Deputies said Robert Hurn, 45, hit a boat trailer Saturday afternoon.

Deputies said he tried to avoid the vehicle in his lane, but couldn't stop in time. Hurn was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle and trailer has been ticketed for failure to yield the right of way.
