Teen dies in ATV accident
ALBANY COUNTY, N.Y. -- A 13-year-old boy has died after crashing his ATV.
The Albany County Sheriff's office says James Wyatt Spencer, of Knox, rolled over his ATV in a field behind his house and became trapped. The accident happened at around 4 p.m. on Thursday.
“It was a four-wheeler accident, rolled over and we had an unresponsive 13-year-old male. It was quite a trek up in the woods, approximately 500 yards or so in. We found the Rhino, which you see behind me. It was on its side, had a 13-year-old pinned down. The boy was unresponsive at that point and they were doing CPR on him," said Albany County Sheriff’s Det. Chief Deputy Craig Apple.
