Three way democratic primary shaping up for fall

ALBANY, N.Y. -- In the race for Albany Mayor, a three-way democratic primary is shaping up for this fall. Albany Common Council President Shawn Morris has confirmed that she plans to run against Mayor Jerry Jennings. Morris has represented the seventh ward for three terms, and was elected president in 2005.


Meanwhile, sources tell us Third Ward Councilman Corey Ellis will formally announce his plans to run on Monday. Ellis represents Arbor Hill and has actively worked to help clean up the neighborhood.
