COLUMBIA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Greenport man is dead after a one car accident early Sunday morning. The Columbia County Sheriff says Arthur Tieger, 80, of Greenport was killed when his car crashed on Route 66 in the Town of Ghent.

The Sheriff says Tieger's 1991 Ford pickup went off the road, and hit a rock wall.

Investigators say a medical problem may been a factor.
