By: Web Staff

ALBANY COUNTY, N.Y. -- Irish eyes were smiling at the Altamont Fairgrounds this weekend. There was no shortage of music, vendors, Irish step dancing or art at the 12th annual Irish music and arts festival.

The festival rocked the stages with more than 20 performances on three stages and a fourth stage for Celtic dance and pipe bands. Some of the performers included Hair of the Dog and Great Big Sea.

"It's a great time. Everyone is just having a good time. There are a lot of bands. Waiting for Hair of the dog who are the headliners. Everyone just having a great time," said Brian Fleshman.
