Exhibits on display at the Saratoga County Fair
SARATOGA, N.Y. -- Excitement is building in Ballston Spa as crews prep for the 167th Saratoga County Fair. Organizers are hoping the slowing economy actually plays in their favor as more and more people are staying closer to home this summer and looking for things to do locally.
As always you can catch everything from Entertainment at the Grandstand, to several blue ribbon exhibitions. It all started as a way to highlight agriculture in the community. And while the focus is still on agriculture, the Saratoga County Fair has also become family centered event and a great way to spotlight the region.

"That’s the whole purpose of the fair, show off the Saratoga County what life is like in Saratoga County and the great people that we have, the great artwork that they create, the great animals we have here in the county...its a fun time," said Dick Rowland - Saratoga County Fair GM.
About 80,000 people are expected to make their way to the Saratoga County fairgrounds. The fair runs through Sunday.
