Arrest made after Subway burglary
ALTAMONT, N.Y. -- A Schenectady man is facing charges in connection with a burglary at a Subway Shop in Altamont.
James Allen, 20, is charged with third-degree burglary, petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Altamont police said Allen entered the Subway on Main Street around 1:30 a.m. Sunday and stole the register drawer and a cash box that contained nearly $450.
He was arrested Monday and arraigned in Altamont Village Court. He was sent to Albany County Jail.
