Man tries to rob store with palm tree frond
DELAND, FL -- A Florida man is charged with armed robbery after he tried to rob a convenience store with a palm tree frond.
The man entered the store with his shirt pulled over his face, demanded money from the clerk and threatened to stab him with the frond.
The employee then chased the man out with a bar stool.
