Round two for voting on school budgets

By: Web Staff

CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. -- It's round two of school budget voting today. Taxpayers in at least five school districts will head back to the polls where budgets failed last month. Budgets were voted down in Corinth, Duanesburg, Hudson, Schodack and South Glens Falls.

The polls open and close at different times in each district so contact your town or city official to find out times.

Also, taxpayers in Ravena will vote on the proposed purchase of four school buses. The district's superintendent said the buses will replace older ones that are less fuel efficient. Voting takes place there at the high school until 9:00 p.m.
