Regal Cinemas at Colonie offering special rates
COLONIE, N.Y. -- If you're cringing at the cost of movies these days, you may want to take advantage of a deal that's going on through Wednesday.
Regal's new Stadium 13 at Colonie Center is hosting special opening week preview rates for three days leading up to the grand opening on Friday.

Movies, popcorn and drinks cost just $2 each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. All the proceeds benefit local charities.
In all, there are 2,800 seats in 13 theaters. The seats rock and the arm rests are adjustable, making it possible for two people to sit right next to each other. Regal says the quality on these screens is also better than on older ones in the area.
May 16-22, popcorn and soft drinks are free with each paid admission.
