McCain and Palin return to home states to vote
U.S. -- Republican candidate John McCain and his running mate Sarah Palin were back in their home states to cast their votes today.
McCain and his wife Cindy greeted supporters as they left their Phoenix, Arizona, polling station.
Earlier this morning, he rallied supporters, thanking them for their support over the past two years.

McCain plans to make stops and greet voters in Colorado and New Mexico later today.
Meanwhile, vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin made a final push to voters earlier this morning in Nevada. She then headed to Wasilla, Alaska, where she served as mayor to cast her vote.
Palin then heads to Arizona to join McCain for election night festivities.
