To really put a stamp on the holiday season, the Schenectady holiday parade happens Saturday night along State Street. It all starts at 5 p.m.

Proctor's has another one of their big shows. Alfred Hitchcock's "The 39 Steps" runs through Sunday.

The Troy Savings Bank Music Hall welcomes Frank Sinatra, Jr. doing some of his dad's songs. It happens Friday night at 8 p.m. They also have Livingston Taylor Sunday at 7 p.m.

And look for Ray Davies of The Kinks at The Egg Monday night. Showtime is 7:30 p.m.

Enjoy Christmas in the Park at the Great Escape happening this weekend. It's sure to get you in the holiday mood.

Saugerties native Jimmy Fallon makes an appearance at The Egg on Saturday night. Showtime is 8 p.m.

There's sports action at the Glens Falls Civic Center with the girls state volleyball tournament. It all takes place Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday night at the Times Union Center, enjoy arena cross. It starts at 7:30 p.m.

Finally, Skano Elementary School will be hosting its second annual holiday bazaar on Saturday from 11 a.m. 4 p.m. in the Skano cafeteria on the Shen campus. It's a free event. All proceeds will benefit the Skano PTA.
