Lots of perks for early ski trips
You may not have picked out your pumpkin yet, but ski resorts across the country are piling on the perks for early season visits.
Whistler, British Columbia will host the 2010 Winter Olympics, and you can preview the runs the athletes will be tearing up if you book before November 15th to save 35 percent on a visit this season. Back in the U.S., Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort and Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort will offer a special Learn to Ski/Ride package from December 1 through 19th. For just $25, beginners will receive a lesson, equipment rental and a limited access lift ticket. Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort is also offering a new green lodging package starting at $108 per person/per night for a studio condo plus lift tickets, and a $50 gas card for a three night stay, excluding holidays.
