Everson Museum Getaway

By: Mike O’Brian

Art work in a work of art! The Everson Museum building, 401 Harrison Street in Syracuse, New York, is a sculptural work of art designed by renowned architect I.M. Pei. Inside, works of art from yesterday and today including a collection of historical and contemporary American visual arts and its international ceramic collection. The largest in the nation! You might even catch a musical event in the museum's theatre. There always seems to be a great traveling exhibit to the museum. There's even a cafe for a bite to eat. It's a good family getaway that'll take you between 2 to 3 hours to tour.

Admission: A suggested $5 donation.
