Kaczmarek expected to plead guilty next week
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- The former Schenectady Police Chief accused of being involved in a massive drug operation could be facing jail time. The Times Union is reporting Gregory Kaczmarek is expected to plead guilty next week to felony drug charges.

organization. Lisa Kaczmarek pleaded not guilty to conspiring to sell narcotics in May. Her arrest was part of a multi-level investigation spear headed by the Attorney General's office called "Operation Slim Chance." It tracked the movement of drugs from Long Island to the Capital Region.
According to the Times Union, a negotiated plea calls for Gregory Kaczmarek serve two years in state prison. He's expected to appear in Schenectady County court on Tuesday.
