Collection box for drowning victim stolen from Price Chopper
EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y. -- East Greenbush police are asking for the public's help in finding the person who stole a money collection box from Price Chopper that was set up after the drowning of a Troy teen.
The box was placed at the service counter at the Price Chopper on Columbia Turnpike for Colton Brown, who worked at the Troy Price Chopper and drowned in the Hudson River on June 12.
Video surveillance inside the store shows a person making off with the box on June 16.
