COLONIE, N.Y. -- Fashion icon Tim Gunn brought style to Macy's Colonie Center this weekend. Gunn is the Project Runway fashion guru who scored a spinoff show called, Tim Gunn's Guide to Style.

He was in Albany to promote the Liz Claiborne line of clothing, where he is the chief creative director. Excited fans waited in line for his book signing and pictures. Gunn said he was thrilled to be Albany.

"I'm proud to be representing the Liz Claiborne brand and to be helping people with their fashion and their style,” said Tim Gunn.

"Well, it was really cool to meet him because me and my mother are a big fan of him and the show,” said Jackson Murphy, who is one of Gunn's biggest fans.

A spring fashion show was also held aimed at giving everyday women ideas for maximizing their wardrobes.
