Capital News 9, Time Warner Cable’s 24-hour local news channel, launched Capital News 900AM, on April 10th.

Capital News 900, is set to be a simulcast of the existing audio from Capital News 9, the 24 hour local news channel currently seen on Time Warner Cable, Channel 9.

The station offers listeners 24-hour local news coverage, Traffic Reports and Weather on the 9’s.

“We are thrilled to offer News 9 on the radio”, said Time Warner Cable Vice President Steve Paulus. “We’ve become must watch TV for our viewers and with Capital News 900, we’re giving our audience a trusted source for news, weather and traffic information on the radio.”

Capital News 900 will have the official call letters of WUAM and is an Anastos Media Group Radio Station.
